        实验室研究方向:水稻氮磷营养利用效率和种子休眠萌发的表观遗传调控机制

        课题组使用前沿生物技术手段,解决农业生产中的两个重大问题,即化肥利用效率低和穗发芽。旨在服务于精准农业,推进绿色高效优质农业的发展。

        现代农业生产高度依赖氮磷等化肥的大量施用,而化肥的大量施用又影响着稻米品质、水体及大气污染。因此,化肥过量使用已成为农业生产亟需解决的关键问题之一。

        穗发芽(Pre-harvest srouting, PHS) 是指作物在收获前,种子在穗上过早萌发的现象。穗发芽导致淀粉和蛋白降解,严重影响产量和品质,是一个亟待解决的农业问题。 

        课题组围绕化肥利用率低和穗发芽这两个重要的农业问题,将主要使用表观遗传学和相分离的技术手段,结合分子生物学、生物化学、遗传学、细胞生物学、生物信息学等学科,研究如下内容:

1. 表观遗传学和相分离机制如何调控水稻氮磷营养利用效率

            将探索植物的表观组如何响应于营养信号,以及营养信号转导通路如何受表观遗传机制的调控。关注的表观机制包括DNA甲基化、组蛋白修饰、组蛋白变异体和染色质高级结构。

            另外,将探索相分离(Phase separation)与营养信号的相互调控机制。

2. 表观遗传学和相分离机制如何调控水稻种子休眠萌发

            将探索在水稻种子休眠和萌发过程中,表观遗传机制和蛋白的相分离是否以及如何变化(或称为重编程),及这些变化的分子机制和生物学意义。
